Resource Manager

To support the Chief Finance Officer and hence the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) with strategic advice (finance, HR, Estates, Procurement, Planning and other) in order to enable the delivery of his/her objectives, particularly as set out in the Police and Crime Plan, while working with the Force Finance, Estates, HR, Planning and Procurement Departments in delivering confident and competent strategy and advice. In the absence of the Chief Finance Officer, to fulfil the statutory obligations and duties set out in Sections 112 to 114 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 and paragraph 6 of Schedule 1 to the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011, and as prescribed by the Home Office Financial Management Code of Practice and other relevant legislative provisions and guidance
