We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking individual to join our team as a Business Analyst. within our Information Services Department. The role is full-time, permanent and based at our Force Headquarters, Ripley. The site offers ample free parking and is easily accessed from main roads A610, A38 and J28/27 of the M1.
The post holder will be working within a team responsible for delivering digital excellence. This will be achieved through a forward looking approach leading to a transformed the business processes by being innovative with ideas and approach taking in the big picture perspective of change across the wider organisation. The post holder is responsible for identifying change needs, assessing the impact of the change, capturing and documenting requirements and then ensuring that those requirements are delivered by Information Services whilst supporting the business through the implementation process. The post maps out the data flows within the business process and any other systems the process interacts with. The development lifecycle is an iterative one and the post holder will be involved from initial concept through to final implementation.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of applying digital understanding, making informed decisions based on user need, experience of analysing and documenting complex business processes using recognised technologies and proven experience writing requirement specifications for Information Systems.
Excellent communication skills, proven problem-solving abilities alongside a willingness to work flexibly, and ability to attend meetings and work from locations County-wide are also essential requirements for the role.
