Following the successful launch in Leicestershire of the National Volunteer Police Cadet (VPC) Scheme in 2015, our cadet programme is growing from strength to strength.
We currently have almost 300 cadets in eight different units across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The scheme offers young people aged 13-18 the chance to learn more about policing, and volunteer to help their communities.
We have cadet units in eight different locations around the county:
* Leicester City Centre
* East Leicester (Hamilton)
* South Leicester (Wigston)
* Charnwood
* Coalville
* Hinckley
* Melton Mowbray
* Market Harborough - TBC
* Loughborough
* Lutterworth - TBC
