Applications are now open for substantive Chief Inspectors who wish to apply for promotion to the rank of Superintendent or transfers at rank.
The promotion process will compromise of:
• Completed competency and values-based application form
• Assistant Chief Constable signed and endorsed application form
• Shortlisted application form
• Presentation to a community-based panel and interview board
• Promotion date TBC
• Pool held for a period of 12 months
A combination of competencies and values will be assessed across the application form, presentation and interview boards.
Candidates are required to pass the shortlisting in order to enter the next stages of the promotion process, which comprises of community panel presentation and force interview boards.
