Turn intelligence into action against financial crime.

As a Non-Accredited Financial Investigator with the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, you’ll support investigations into financial crimes by developing intelligence, gathering evidence and helping to recover assets through obtain confiscation orders including those to compensate victims of crime.

We have a full-time and part-time position available.

You’ll be

  • Planning investigations ensuring they are conducted thoroughly
  • Identifying criminally obtained assets and conducting confiscation inquiries
  • Providing specialist financial investigation advise to a range of stakeholders

You must

  • Hold National Crime Agency (NCA) accreditation as a Financial Intelligence Officer.
  • Be willing to obtain NCA Financial Investigator accreditation.
  • Be skilled writing accurate and detailed reports and criminal/civil files.
  • Have experience prioritising and managing a high workload to meet deadlines.

NCA Accredited Financial Investigators may also apply.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have 5 years’ continuous residency in the UK.
