Looking to make a difference?

We are looking for a dynamic, creative Talent Acquisition Advisor to help deliver our resourcing and attraction strategy. On a fixed term basis with the potential to be permanent.

It’s an exciting time to join the force; there’s plenty of resourcing change and transformation ongoing as part of our aspiration to build a recruitment centre of excellence, and with this comes the opportunity to really make this role your own.

Working on Talent Acquisition for both Derbyshire Constabulary and Leicestershire Police, you’ll implement our direct sourcing model, attracting talented candidates into non-operational, support staff roles, as well as ensuring that our recruitment methods support our commitments to diversity and inclusion.

As the Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll be a valued member of the HR Shared Service Centre team, partnering with HR and hiring managers to ensure talent objectives are met through recruitment campaigns and talent attraction, while delivering to relevant KPIs. You will partner and support our Talent Acquisition Lead, working together to achieve results and ensuring an excellent service.

A key part of your role will be to deliver a specialist recruitment service as part of the Talent Acquisition Team, focusing on hard to fill, police staff recruitment and the reduction of agency usage across both forces. This will include job advertising, targeting, and engaging with potential candidates and managing the candidate Opportunity Hubs to support direct sourcing.

We welcome new and innovative ideas; there will be on-going monitoring on our process and candidate attraction. So, there is plenty of opportunity to make this your own and be creative.

Previous recruitment experience either an agency or in-house recruitment environment and talent attraction are both essential to this role. You’ll be passionate and someone who loves a challenge as you meet tight deadlines, build great sustainable relationships and pride yourself on being efficient and organised.

The role will be based in Ripley, Derbyshire, however you will be delivering a recruitment service to two police forces - Derbyshire Constabulary and Leicestershire Police. You therefore must be flexible and have the ability to travel regularly within Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

We appreciate the importance of work life balance and welfare which is why we implement flexible and agile working practices, including remote working.

If this sounds like the role for you, please see the full job description and click to apply.

As part of your application, you must provide both a CV and Supporting Statement, stating how you meet the essential/desirable criteria as listed in the job description. Please ensure you provide detailed evidence of your experience in a recruitment position (in-house or agency), within your application.

This opportunity is closed to applications.
