Leicestershire Police are offering an exciting opportunity to work as National Government Agency Intelligence Network (GAIN) Researcher within the Serious Organised Crime Unit.

GAIN works with the Regional Organised Crime Units and Government Agencies across County.
You will be part of a small team where the focus is on intelligence gathering and the disruption and investigation of serious and organised crime.

Working as a National GAIN Researcher, your duties will involve supporting the National GAIN Intelligence Unit by assisting and enabling analytical processes to take place effectively, which then inform and influence decisions allowing the effective deployment or operational resources. This role is vital for supporting the GAIN network, which leads a multi-agency approach to reduce and disrupt serious organised crime.

You will have experience of data collection, the assessment and validation of information and the ability to identify and research relevant facts that are not immediately available. Excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload is also essential for the role.
