We are looking for an External Training Budget Officer, as part of Team Leicestershire Academy (TLA) on a part time, permanent basis. The role will be offered as an 18.5 hours per week contract; hours can be worked in a variety of arrangements and will be discussed further at interview.

As the External Training Budget Officer, you will be responsible for all administrative and financial duties for the external training budget each year. This will include collating external training bids from all departments across the force annually, processing training booking requests and raising PO's and invoices.

Your focus will be on obtaining best value and the best use of resources for the force. Providing a high-quality service to individuals and departments, you will assist, advise and provide recommendations to stakeholders and budget holders across the force.

Already having some knowledge and experience of budget management and processes, you will be able to respond to financial issues as they arise. You will be comfortable using computerised systems to search and retrieve data, including sales/purchase ledgers and cash handling.
You’ll have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to input high volumes of data accurately while working to tight deadlines.
