Here at Leicestershire Police we support everyone to be the best they can be and are serious about the development of our people.

If you share our passion and have experience in conducting investigations to Professionalising Investigation Programme (PIP2) level, then come and join us as an Investigative Skills Trainer on a full time, permanent basis.

We are a changing police force, bringing new and digital approaches on board, challenging the way we learn and teaching and encouraging shared learning across the whole force.

As part of Team Leicestershire Academy, you will develop and support the modern-day workforce by delivering blended innovative methods of training within the Professionalising Investigation Programme (PIP) Levels 1 and 2 of the National Curriculum, in line with College of Policing guidance and local quality standards.

The learning landscape is changing, and we recognise that we need to change with it. We welcome creative solutions thinkers, with a can do, positive, inquisitive mindset. You will be using your experience in policing or an investigative background, to share your knowledge of conducting investigations and preparing case files. We know that your professionalism and enthusiasm will inspire and motivate your delegates.

Our police staff work side by side with police officers and make a real difference to people’s lives. Team Leicestershire Academy is for everyone and belongs to all of us at Leicestershire Police. Want to be part of it too?

Leicestershire Police is committed to improving the diversity of its workforce to better reflect the communities we serve. We welcome applications from all minority groups and individuals who identify with one or more of the protected characteristics as defined by the Equality Act 2010. Successful candidates will share our purpose and values.
