The Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) team forms part of a national scheme to educate drivers in reducing their speed on the roads. The Unit is responsible for the operation of every fixed, mobile and red light safety camera in the County and involvement in road safety enforcement exercises with Roads Policing officers and Safer Neighbourhood Teams.
Enforcement officers are responsible for the operation of fixed and mobile safety camera operations in the county. They are also responsible for creation of prosecution files in respect of offenders and detected offences.
