To manage staff and make assessments and decisions that enable the service to run effectively including the tasking of work and balancing of workloads. Providing an executive function support to the Police and Crime Commissioner and his Deputy including the provision of committee administration.
To provide development opportunities for all managed staff, undertake personal development reviews and deal with welfare issues in a sensitive & confidential manner. Undertake regular appraisals of staff in accordance with the PDR process and take responsibility for helping to address career development needs.
To direct staff in the business areas of executive support, casework management, volunteer management and research and performance monitoring.
To deputise for the Executive Director in his/her absence.
