Are you an experienced, creative and innovative digital engagement manager? If so, Leicestershire Police would love to hear from you.

This role is at the heart of how we connect with our workforce and all of the diverse communities that make up the City of Leicester, and the Counties of Leicestershire and Rutland.

We are looking for someone with significant experience of designing, delivering and evaluating internal and external multi-platform digital strategies, campaigns and stakeholder management. You will understand the importance of insight and be able to demonstrate past success in delivering outcomes with real impact. You will also have a track record of using sophisticated techniques, dynamic content and preferred channels to reach target audiences, via the web, social media, film, animation and graphic design.

As this is a senior management role, you will be adept at linking strategy and operational delivery, using digital media to connect with hearts and minds, drive behavioural change and achieve organisational priorities. You will have project management experience, especially in digital services. As a member of the department’s management team, you will also be a collaborative leader, adept at motivating, inspiring and working with others across multi-functional teams. In addition, you will have the expertise to advise our most senior leaders on reputational management in the digital sphere.

Finally, you will have a strong commitment to supporting the vital role policing plays in our communities - preventing, responding to and detecting crime, protecting our communities, and demonstrating we understand and deal with the things that matter to local people. You will have a strong affinity and be able to build on the impact we have had with high profile films such as Breck’s Last Game and Kayleigh’s Love Story. You will know how to highlight the great work we do to increase public trust and confidence, and improve the ability of our officers and staff to do the jobs they care passionately about.
