Contact Management Trainer

Derbyshire Constabulary are looking to expand our training team and to support this, four trainer positions working within the Contact Management Department are now available on a full time, permanent basis.

The role of Trainer will require you to design and deliver Contact Management specific training programmes, enabling the department to achieve its goals and individuals to fulfil their potential. The role requires both training and ongoing coaching skills for new starters as well as existing staff as part of their continuous professional development.

We are looking to appoint someone supportive, with strong communication skills and confidence to deliver training to our new recruits.

You'll have the opportunity to make a difference when it truly matters, ensuring our call takers and dispatchers are well equipped to provide a first-class service to members of the public when they need it most.

Within the role of Trainer, you would develop and deliver learning programmes and sessions, research, design, develop and maintain learning materials that enhance the learning and engage the learners.

You would work alongside a team to provide coaching and ongoing support to Contact Handler and Dispatchers ensuring quality of service delivery, and performance standards.
