Come and be part of a progressive and dedicated team; The Disruption team are looking to recruit a Disruption Team Officer on a 37 hours, full time, permanent basis.
EMSOU is made up of teams dealing with Counter Terrorism, Regional Organised Crime, Major Crime, Forensic Services, Legal Services and a Regional Review Unit.
EMSOU is one of the largest collaborative policing units in the country, delivering specialist capabilities on behalf of the five East Midlands police forces. EMSOU focuses on intelligence gathering and the disruption and investigation of serious and organised crime.
You will be a tactical advisor within Law Enforcement on methods to disrupt Serious and Organised Crime through a multi-agency approach. You will identify any and all opportunities to disrupt Organised and serious criminality. A key part of your role will be to facilitate and co-ordinate enforcement utilising all appropriate methods and resources necessary in order to achieve operational objectives. You will develop, enhance and maintain effective working relationships with other, law enforcement partners, agencies and individuals in order to both maximise the opportunities for intelligence gathering and to disrupt criminality.
Due to the nature of vetting clearance required for this role you must have 5 years continuous residency in the UK.
