If so, join us as a Telephone Researcher on a permanent, part-time basis, carrying out structured telephone interviews with the public.

As a force, we are always looking at ways we can continuously improve, not just to prevent crime from happening in the first place but also to provide a service and a workforce that is fit for the future, dynamic and efficient; this role plays a key part in that, helping us to gather feedback from victims of crime to make ongoing improvements.

Working as part of a team, you will guide victims through a survey script, gathering clear and accurate information about the service they received. An excellent communicator, empathetic, patient and polite, you’ll maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times, as you probe for answers and gather feedback from participants.

Experience of working with members of the public would be advantageous and strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel, is vital. If you have emotional resilience and can embodying the force values then we can offer you the training you will need to be successful in this role, as well as ongoing support from a great team.

All hours must be worked Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 9pm from our Force Headquarters.
