The EMSOU Major Crime team are looking to appoint a HOLMES Document Manager to work within Major Crime at Beaumont Leys.

The successful applicant will work alongside an existing Document Manager and be responsible for the initial and continuing direction of a major investigation by providing and being responsible for the appropriate management of information, documents and actions within the Major Incident Room in order to develop the enquiry. They will report to the Senior Investigating officer, whilst working closely alongside the Detective Sergeants and HOLMES Team.

The successful applicant should ideally have previous experience of using HOLMES and working within a homicide or complex investigation team. Flexibility, dedication and team work will be key aspects of this important role in striving to detect homicides.

This current period of time has seen EMSOU Major Crime at Leicester, at its busiest since the creation of the Leicestershire Constabulary in 1839, averaging 14 homicides a year.
