Do you want to be part of a real success story that will see the support of recruitment and talent?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about resourcing, onboarding and promoting Leicestershire Police and Derbyshire Constabulary. This is an opportunity to join our Shared HR Service Centre and lead a recruitment and talent team where you will be responsible for ensuring that we provide a credible, efficient and effective recruitment service for all non-uniformed hires.

It’s an exciting time to join the force; there’s plenty of resourcing change and transformation ongoing as part of our aspiration to build a recruitment centre of excellence.

As the Resourcing Partner, you will use your experience within an in-house or agency background to provide expertise and guidance to our stakeholders, ensuring a first-class end to end candidate and hiring manager experience. You will be able to work at pace and drive the recruitment agenda and deliver results against our KPI’s.

We are looking for a proactive, effective and efficient Resourcing Partner that can lead and guide our team of HR Service Officers, the Talent Acquisition Team and work with our recruiting managers to ensure talented and ambitious people enjoy rewarding and fulfilling careers.

• You’ll be a great leader of people
• Lead specific recruitment campaigns and building passive talent pipelines plans for pivotal and critical positions
• You’ll drive efficiencies through our direct source model, reducing overall PSL spend
• Managing agency suppliers and building effective partnerships (managing supplier performance meetings, quarterly reviews etc)
• Using data to inform and influence strategy decisions
• Deliver resourcing and talent related projects
• Act as a trusted advisor to the force on all aspects of the resourcing for the area you support.

The role will be based in Ripley, Derbyshire, however you will be delivering a recruitment service to two police forces - Derbyshire Constabulary and Leicestershire Police. You therefore must be flexible and have the ability to travel regularly within Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

We appreciate the importance of work life balance and wellbeing which is why we have flexible and agile working practices, including remote working.

If this sounds like the role for you, please see the full job description and click to apply.

As part of your application, you must provide both a CV and Supporting Statement, stating how you meet the essential/desirable criteria as listed in the job description. Please ensure you provide detailed evidence of your experience in a managerial recruitment position (in-house or agency), within your application.

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.

Due to vetting requirements, all candidates must have three years continuous UK residency at the point of application, to be eligible to apply.

This opportunity is closed to applications.
