Do you have extensive experience in community safety or criminal justice? Are you interested in a challenging, multi-agency role that can make a real difference in tackling serious violence in Derbyshire?

We have a unique opportunity for a Serious Violence Programme Manager ,to work within the newly formed Violence Reduction Unit supporting both Derbyshire Constabulary and the multi-partner Serious Violence Partnership until 31st March 2025.

As the Serious Violence Programme Manager, you will design, record and pro-actively manage the multi-agency delivery programme for the reduction and prevention of Serious Violence within Derbyshire.

You will represent the Serious Violence programme at local and national Boards, meetings, forums and networks delivering presentations and other inputs that are appropriate to the role and keep the PCC and OPCC, Core Membership and other major stakeholders sighted on key risks, issues and decisions, escalating where appropriate.

 You will manage a support team such as an analyst, youth engagement officer and a comms co-ordinator, to deliver on specific Serious Violence projects and initiatives that are delivered though the central team.

This is a new role and as such you will undertake other duties, in line with the responsibility of this role, that may be required to achieve the aims of the Serious Violence programme

 For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
