Leicestershire Police are currently seeking a Records Management Officer to join our innovative team.

This is an exciting opportunity to support Force’s record and daily management of assets, providing the Force the opportunities to maximise and exploit the records it holds. 

 As part of the team you will support the Force with the long-term migration of these into a cloud-based storage environment and support the deployment of innovative technologies.

Working with stakeholders delivering formal training, making this role your own. This is a great chance to have variety in your day to day.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a formal qualification in records management or data protection or be able to demonstrate experience of working to the required standard.
  • Has a formal qualification in risk management principles or be able to demonstrate experience applying risk management principles on a day-to-day basis within the workplace.
  • Demonstrates, by example, experience in providing verbal and written briefings to a range of stakeholders on a complicated subject (e.g data protection, records management etc).
  • Has a good working knowledge of risk management principles as it pertains to records management compliance.

You will deliver formal training to a wide range of stakeholders on records management matters and other related topics.

With your excellent organisational skills you will co-ordinate and manage the records management risk register on behalf of the Records Manager and wider Corporate Services.
