We have a unique opportunity to work within the newly formed Violence Reduction Unit, as a Communication and Campaigns Officer, supporting both Derbyshire Constabulary and the multi-partner Serious Violence Partnership until 31st March 2025

As the Communication and Campaigns Officer you will ensure a consistent and co-ordinated approach to communications in relation to the work of the Serious Violence programme and the wider Serious Violence partnership. This will include the development and delivery of communications activities across a range of channels to increase awareness and involvement by partners and communities in our efforts to prevent and reduce serious violence.

You will also play a role in Serious Violence campaigns, working closely with the campaigns lead to source good news stories from across the Serious Violence Programme and publishing those stories through various media channels to promote the work of the Programme.

The role will support a multi-agency approach regarding our response to prevention and reduction of Serious Violence in the City and County area.

As this is a new role it should develop along with the changing demands of the Serious Violence programme

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
