EMSOU(SB), (East Midlands Special Operations Unit (Special Branch) forms part of EMSOU, which is a multi-agency crime-fighting organisation dedicated to the investigation and detection in the East Midlands region of serious and organised crime, major crime, terrorism and extremism.
The purpose of EMSOU(SB) is to keep people safe by preventing, deterring and investigating terrorist and extremist activity, and the EMSOU(SB) Performance Analyst role is responsible for the production of detailed management information, performance statistics and strategic analysis.
The post holder will be required to develop and produce Management Information for and on behalf of EMSOU(SB), and conduct analysis to inform & support effective and evidence-based decision making across the organisation to enable effective delivery of the Units priorities and objectives.
The role is required to engage with a range of partners and will work as an integral element of the wider national counter terrorist policing network.
