Are you looking for a leadership role in Occupational Health?

Following a review of the Occupational Health provision in the East Midlands Occupational Health Regional Collaboration for Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire Police Forces we have the exciting opportunity for a Lead Nurse.

This role will cover the south area including Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.

Come join a dynamic and growing occupational health service where you will manage a team of OH and Screening Nurses and have opportunities for your own professional development and career progression.

You will have a base location and be expected to work across the forces and work collaboratively with Health & Safety and HR.

As a Senior Occupational Health Nurse, you will be vital to managing and organising workloads for yourself and the team to ensure officers and police staff are fit for their roles and supported throughout their careers with specialist health, safety and wellbeing advice.

You will make it possible for the forces to have more trained officers, special constables and police community support officers (PCSOs) on the streets as well as supporting the police staff in non- public facing roles, providing protection and reassurance to the public.

This is a full time role of 37 hours per week

Key benefits of the role:
• 25 days leave plus bank holidays rising to 30 days leave after 5 years
• The opportunity to work some ‘flexi’ time, to enable additional days off to be taken
• On-site parking
• Paid travel time and fuel expenses when travelling out of primary location
• NMC fees paid and study/update days
• Peer supervision and revalidation support
