Join our team as an Operational Management Accountant on a full time, permanent basis and you use your personal and professional skills to deliver a high-quality service that enables our front-line officers to protect the public.
As an integral member of the Strategic Finance Team you will be helping to safeguard our finances ensuring our officers have all the right equipment they need and playing a key supporting role in helping communities across Derbyshire.
Using your experience and knowledge you will provide meaningful data, reports and advice on all aspects of the corporate finances which will support effective decision making by senior managers.
As a force, we spend in excess of £200m of public money annually; it is imperative that we spend this money wisely, guided by our key purpose of ‘Making Derbyshire Safer Together’.
Whether you join us as an AAT qualified or part-qualified AAT applicant we will support your professional growth within this role as part of our commitment to CPD.
For part-qualified AAT applicants a training support package will be available including financial support and study leave, as you work towards becoming a fully qualified AAT Accountant.
A career grade scheme is in place to support progression within this role. The initial salary/grade offered will be dependent on qualification level upon appointment.
