Are you an experienced digital media professional looking for the next challenge? If so, Leicestershire Police would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone with experience, creativity and passion to join our talented Digital Media Team on a fixed term basis, until January 2022. This role is at the heart of how we connect with the diverse communities across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and is instrumental in shaping how we inform our own workforce.

You will know how to design, deliver and evaluate digital campaigns, have experience in making creative and compelling content suitable for a variety of platforms and be able to shoot and edit video.

As part of a wider team, you will help develop new and innovative ways of using social and digital media to inform and engage with both internal and external audiences. You will have a proven track record in using a variety of channels to connect with hearts and minds, drive behavioural change and achieve organisational priorities.

You will be a team player with lots of ideas, be adept at managing projects and individual workloads and know about the latest changes and trends.

You will know how to use digital channels to highlight the great work we do to increase public trust and confidence, and improve the ability of our officers and staff to do the jobs they care passionately about.

Finally, you will have a strong commitment to supporting the vital role policing plays in our communities - preventing, responding to and detecting crime, protecting our communities, and demonstrating we understand and deal with the things that matter to local people.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Liam.Ross7385@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk

Our police staff work side by side with police officers and make a real difference to people’s lives.

Whether you join us for on-going career development or in a highly rewarding job with good pay and flexible hours to suit your needs, we are confident you will enjoy working in our modern, dynamic and fast-moving organisation where teamwork and co-operation really does count for everything.

From widely diverse backgrounds with very different personalities and aspirations, everyone who joins us plays a positive part in community policing.

Vacancy closes Thursday 27th May at 23:55
