To provide an IT Service Desk function to Leicestershire Police in accordance with the Force Information Security Policy.

To facilitate all initial communications to the Department through the IT Service Desk including incidents and service requests reported via phone, email, walking visitors and through a regional service portal.

First line resolution of faults and tasks as appropriate. Logging, prioritisation and management of all calls. Perform daily health checks for all information systems on a rota basis.

To provide systems administration in supported applications/infrastructures. Perform JML procedures to support access to force technology and systems. Updating documentation and reference material as appropriate.
