Are you a highly organised and motivated individual?

Derbyshire Constabulary have an exciting opportunity for a permanent part-time Personal Assistant to join their team in Crime Support to provide secretarial support for the Head of Crime and the Senior Management team.  You will be based at Force Headquarters, Ripley working 22 hours/3 days per week (days to be agreed with the successful applicant).

What you’ll be doing

  • The purpose of the role is to provide secretarial support to the Head of Crime and the Senior Management Team, including tasks such as management of diary, organising meetings, incoming emails, maintaining databases, records and files, minute taking and typing of reports and letters.

The must haves

  • Good customer service skills as you will be dealing with people face to face and via the telephone and must be able to work unsupervised, using your own initiative to ensure priorities are covered.
  • Previous experience of text processing and clerical work to include typing of reports, letters and minutes of meetings.
  • Ability to use Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint or similar software along with TEAMS and Office 365.
  • A great attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.

Salary: £24,462-£29,874 per annum (for part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
