An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Receptionist to join the Fleet Management Transport Unit on a full- time permanent basis working Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and 7.30am – 3.30pm on a Friday.

Leicestershire Police covers large geographical areas, our police fleet vehicles are vital to ensure we provide effective policing to all corners of Leicestershire.

Working with our fleet management team you will help to make sure we have the well maintained vehicles we need.

You will oversee the vehicle fleet and organise the day to day running of the transport unit workshop. You will be the first point of contact answering all queries coming into the Transport Unit 's busy workshop.

You will coordinate delivery and collection of vehicles, support management in the work allocation and ensure vehicles are repaired and serviced and returned to service.

You will hold a City and Guilds Fleet Management qualification or equivalent industry standard qualification, or have work experience within this field.

You should hold a full clean driving licence for cars and light commercial vehicles.

Familiarisation with a busy vehicle workshop environment would be advantageous.
