Event -- SPOTLIGHT ON - Special Constables

This online session will give you an informative insight into becoming a Special Constable and what is takes to really help serve your community and help to keep Derbyshire safer.

Being a Special Constable can be challenging at times, but no two days are the same! You will work independently and within a team to help serve your community and provide the best police presence. You will help during major incidents and respond/attend incidents as an officer would. As this is a voluntary role, the hours are flexible to suit you as long as you complete 16 hours per month.

Derbyshire Constabulary are an extremely supportive force and want to ensure you make the right career choices for you! Progression is available within this role, including side steps into different departments. As this is a volunteer role, you will benefit from learning new skills, gain experience and have access to our force support networks.
