Join our Recruitment Team and help ensure Derbyshire and Leicestershire Police attract and recruit the best skilled people to deliver our services!

We are looking for Recruitment Officers to join our recruitment and talent team on a fixed term contract for 6 months initially, with the likelihood this may lead to permanent employment.

You’ll be working within a vibrant and supportive recruitment team, which sits at the heart of our policing family to deliver recruitment for Derbyshire Constabulary, Leicestershire Police and East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU).  We like to source and recruit great talent, and that's what you'll be working on.

As a resilient self-starter and effective organiser you will manage your own portfolio, delivering a full end to end recruitment process, taking candidates from attraction and initial application, all the way to their final offers, ensuring they meet the requirements to be successful and eligible to work for our force, and giving them a positive experience at each stage of their onboarding journey.

Using your excellent communication skills, you’ll be dealing confidently with internal and external customers verbally (over the telephone or face to face) and in writing. You will provide recruitment and attraction advice to hiring managers, seeking out the best options for them to find the right people.

You will work with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring correct maintenance of information and integrity of data records.

You’ll be working with a variety of highly motivated, ambitious, and capable people in a forward-thinking organisation.

Working for Derbyshire Constabulary can offer you a wide range of benefits, including an attractive pension scheme, shopping discounts and a broad careers potential.
