Do you want to make a difference to the lives of victims?

Derbyshire Constabulary are seeking to recruit experienced investigators in order to support large scale historical Public Protection investigation (Operation Landguard).

The roles are full-time (suitable for part-time), working Monday-Friday, suitable for flexitime working and fixed-term for 12 months.

You’ll play a crucial role in the investigation, which will involve contacting potential victims, obtaining statements or video interviews, reviewing third party material, assisting with case file preparation and other tasks as directed by the Senior Investigating Officer (SIO).

Due to the nature of the role, you must hold PiP1 accreditation, with experience of providing accurate professional reports and the ability to scrutinise and analyse complex data. You’ll also need to hold a full driving licence.

The roles are based at our Force Headquarters in Ripley, with ample free parking and easily accessed via the A610, close to the A38, and around 15 minutes from J28 of the M1.

So, if you are ready to join a hard-working team, and use your skills to make a real difference, please read the attached job description and click to apply!
