Leicestershire Police are currently recruiting for a Regional Intelligence Analyst to work within the Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU). If you are looking to take the next step in your career, we might just have the perfect opportunity for you!
The East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) is one of the largest collaborative policing units in the country, delivering specialist capabilities on behalf of the five East Midlands police forces. EMSOU focuses on intelligence gathering and the disruption and investigation of Serious and Organised Crime (SOC). We deliver services including covert tactics, digital forensics, criminal finance and asset recovery in support of investigations into people, drugs and firearms trafficking, cybercrime, fraud and money laundering, as well as prison corruption.
As a Regional Intelligence Analyst, your work will be vital for assisting with Investigations. You will be researching and analysing data, evaluating and collating information from various sources and identifying and developing evidential links between offenders and offences at local and regional level.
Our ideal candidate will be experienced with data analysis, including making inferences and recommendations based on data sets. You will also have strong communications skills, with the ability to present findings, create reports and build relationships with a range of people across EMSOU.
