Are you a forward-thinking problem solver who can providing meaningful insights into current and future risk and challenges for UK Policing?
If so, join our innovative and analytical team as a Strategic Analysis Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.
Bridging the gap between intelligence assessment, performance information and strategy, you will lead the delivery of strategic analysis as part of our Strategic Planning Cycle. Using insights and reports to inform operational and strategic decision making, you’ll undertake long term and short, sharp pieces of analysis – examining what’s worked, what didn’t and what’s made a difference. Delivering a fresh perspective that’s guided by our key principle of “Making Derbyshire Safer Together”
Working across all departments and at all levels, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of our organisation and use your knowledge to effectively analyse and influence our reactions to current and future demands, changes and challenges.
Using your understanding of technology and how it can be leveraged to produce faster, more robust analysis, you will develop the analytical infrastructure, tools and capabilities of the Analytical Services Department, identifying and reviewing best in class analytical functions in and outside of policing to ensure continuous improvements.
Your leadership will be key in managing and developing our team of Strategic Analyst's, providing opportunities to grow their skill base and the capabilities of the team.
