Derbyshire Constabulary's Crime Support Department are looking to recruit individuals that wish to share their experience within policing by delivering an existing training package on the topic of vulnerability.

Based on the College of Policing definition, a person is vulnerable if, as a result of their situation or circumstances, a person is unable to take care of or protect themselves or others from harm or exploitation.

As the Vulnerability Crime Trainer, you will become a subject matter expert and deliver an extensive, pre-designed training product that increases awareness, builds confidence and enhances the skills of our workforce as part of Derbyshire Constabulary’s commitment to protecting the vulnerable.

Working as part of a team trainers, you will co-ordinate and plan the delivery of this training product across the entire organisation, including police officers and staff. You will also develop the existing learning materials, ensuring that the appropriate methods are used, using a range of formats and mediums, including classroom and digital delivery/virtual classroom.

This role is required on a full-time basis and will be for an initial period of 12 months. The role will be based at Force Headquarters, however you will be expected to travel to various Derbyshire Constabulary sites to deliver training as required.
