The Information Technology department are currently looking to recruit a Programme Support Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Programme Support Assistant, you will provide a financial and programme support service, offering appropriate administrative service to the IT Department, local force and regional peers. This will include ordering and equipping officers and staff with IT goods and services, advising staff, maintaining records and processing invoices.

We are an essential support service that provides the IT and information systems needed to meet the operational and support requirements of Leicestershire Police.

We work hard to ensure that everything is working well and that everyone has the IT resources they need to get the job done.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience within a financial and administrative environment and work with financial procedures.

An ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail will be key, as you work with minimal supervision, making decisions within procedural guidelines, as necessary.

A confident communicator, you will also have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels, as you liaise with external suppliers and colleagues across the organisation.

Our police staff work side by side with police officers and make a real difference to people’s lives.
